After you've created your fantasy itinerary - which can be to anywhere in the SLH portfolio, you must during the Contest Period blog about your fantasy itinerary on http://womenwine.com. By writing about what your fantasy itinerary with original photos or original video as well this creates an entry (“Submitted Materials”).   The title of your entry must be I'm Dreaming of an SLH Gourmet Stay/Women & Wine Contest Entry If you are not a member of Women & Wine, you must register on this site <a href="../../../">http://womenwine.com</a> to become a member in order to submit your blog entry. Membership is free and you must be 21 years of age to participate. Entries may be no longer than 400 words and cannot contain any more than one picture or video. You may only register and enter one time. Videos cannot be longer than 2 minutes. The editors of the Women & Wine site reserve the right to alter content or remove an entry if entry does not meet the requirements. You may only register and enter one time. You must choose one of the SLH destination hotel properties in your entry and you may include those properties that are not in the Gourmet portfolio. All Submitted Materials must be entered no later than 11:59 (ET) October 15, 2009. You are not bound to the destination that you have blogged about if you are the winner. 4. Submitted Materials: By submitting a Submission, each contestant represents and warrants that no laws were broken in the creation of the Submission (including, without limitation, the image(s), music, graphics or other content contained therein), that no person or animal was harmed or endangered in the creation of the Submission and that their Submission is their own original creation (that no party other than the entrant has any right, title or interest in and to the Submission or any part of the Submission), has not been copied in whole from any other work, has not been previously published, does not violate the rights of any other person or company (including but not limited to privacy rights, publicity rights, trademark rights and copyrights), does not defame, libel, or slander anyone or any entity, , and does not contain offensive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene or profane content, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. Contestants agree to indemnify, defend and hold Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, licensors, advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agencies (“Contest Entities”) harmless against any and all liabilities, losses, damages, claims, debts, investigations, fines, penalties, costs, expenses and settlements (including attorneys' fees and costs of litigation, settlement, judgment, interest and penalties) arising out of or related to a breach of the foregoing representations and warranties. All Submissions become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Winners grant to Sponsor an irrevocable, world-wide, fully-paid, perpetual license to use their winning Submissions as set forth herein and in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, in any manner related to the Contest, without prior notice, approval or compensation, including but not limited to the first right to publish the winning Submissions.  Submissions that do not comply with these Official Rules or that otherwise contain prohibited or inappropriate content as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will be disqualified and will not be considered for a prize. The Sponsor makes the final determination as to which Submissions are eligible to take part in this Contest and may be considered for a prize. Certain Submissions may be featured from time to time on the Website during the Contest, in Sponsor’s sole discretion; being selected as a featured Submission is unrelated to the judging criteria (as described below) and does not guarantee selection as a prize winner in the Contest.  5. Selection of Winners and Notification: On or about Friday, October 31, 2009, a panel consisting of Women & Wine editors will select the winner. Judging for this contest will be based entirely on the review panel’s findings with originality, thoughtfulness of entry and clarity as the characteristics on which the judging will take place. You must use one of the SLH destination hotel properties in your entry but you may include other SLH hotels that are not in the Gourmet portfolio. Entrants agree that all decisions made by the panel of Women & Wine to any and all issues related to this Contest are final and binding. Original certificate will be sent to the winner within 48 hours. Certificate may not be reproduced or duplicated and will need to be presented upon check-in. Details of how to book will be given to the award winner only. Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner by telephone or by email using the information provided in the Women & Wine member registration form end of business on Monday, November 2, 2009. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond by 5:00 pm (PT) on Wednesday, November 4, 2009,or if a winner does not fulfill the eligibility requirements, if a winner does not adhere to the Official Rules, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that winner will be disqualified and Sponsor may select a new potential winner by the same criteria set forth above. All winners will be required to sign and return a release for the Submission, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) a Publicity Release. Those who do not have access to the internet for posting may mail entry to be received by October 15, 2009 to Women & Wine Inc., 204 N. Rodeo Drive, P-1, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. These entries will be posted by the W&W staff.  6) Prizes: One Grand Prize winner (“Winner”) will get a 5 Night Accommodation (Room Only) at any Small Luxury Hotel of the World subject to availability.  All winners are responsible for applicable federal, state and local taxes in connection with the prize. Winner will be responsible for any and all additional prize-related expenses not mentioned in this Paragraph. Winner must book by midnight December 31, 2009 EST for use in either 2009 or through December 31, 2010. Booking must be made by December 31, 2009 and there will be no exceptions. Booking cannot be changed or amended and is subject to availability and may not be available during high season or other event related time periods. Amendments or changes or cancellation for any reason will result in the forfeiture of the room voucher prize. Booking is for Standard Double Room Accommodation only for a maximum of 5 nights per hotel per stay. A minimum of two (2) weeks notice must be given to the SLH booking coordinator. All requests must be made in writing. A credit card must be presented at the time of check-in and all food, drink, incidentals and taxes are to be settled with the hotel prior to checkout. The Club of the SLH Hotels benefits may not be used or redeemed with this offer. Winners who choose an all-inclusive SLH hotel property for their room nights will be responsible for an up-charge to be determined at the time of booking and will vary depending on the type of property selected. The prize redemption for nights at these hotels does not include anything other than room accommodations.  Amendments or changes or cancellation for any reason will result in the forfeiture of the room voucher prize.  Small Luxury Hotels of the World has the right to update or amend these terms and conditions. The claiming of room nights will be governed by the terms and conditions in place at the time the nights are claimed rather than the date issued. Value of this prize is $2500 US dollars. 7. Responsibility Release: By entering, contestants agree to release, waive, and hold harmless the Contest Entities from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, and liability arising from injuries (including death), damages, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney’s fees) incurred as a result of the contestants’ participation in this Contest and/or their acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize or element thereof. 8. Publicity: By entering this Contest, contestants agree to allow use of their name, voice, photograph, likeness, any information provided in the Submission in any medium of communication, including but not limited to print, Internet, radio and/or television and for any purpose, including advertising, promotional or other purposes, by the Sponsor and its licensees and affiliates, in perpetuity, without additional compensation or consideration, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law. 9. Internet: The Contest Entities are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for entries that are late, misdirected, deleted, incomplete, inaccurate, or garbled or entries that are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason, including computer, telephone, paper transfer, human or other error, or for electronic, computer or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access any website associated with this Contest, or process any transaction thereon. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail and govern. If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned, or if this Contest or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Contest and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor’s opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Contest or any portion thereof. In the event this Contest is cancelled, the judges panel will select winners applying the criteria set forth above to all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Entry Site.
